Sify brings cross-layer reliability intelligence to complex enterprise infrastructure

The challenge

Sify operates infrastructure across several domains at once: data centers, network services and cloud. Each domain is well instrumented. The difficulty is the space between them — incidents that begin in one domain and surface as symptoms in another, owned by different teams and reported through different tools.

For an operator serving enterprise customers, that gap has a direct cost: longer investigations, duplicate tickets across teams, and root-cause explanations assembled after the fact.

The approach

Raincurve is applied across Sify's network operations as a reasoning layer above existing monitoring:

• One dependency graph across data center, network and cloud infrastructure, maintained continuously across vendors.
• Causal incident grouping that turns cross-domain alarm floods into incidents with a ranked origin.
• Verified change checks so maintenance and remediation are tested against live redundancy and in-flight work before they run.
• Deployment inside the operator's environment, keeping operational data within its boundary.

What we are measuring

The engagement is tracked against operational outcomes agreed up front:

• Mean time to resolution for cross-domain incidents
• Tickets opened per incident
• Share of incidents with a correctly identified origin
• Changes blocked or re-sequenced by verification before they caused harm

Results will be published here as the deployment matures.
